Cheryl has been an educator for 23 years. After teaching English, theatre, and radio and TV production at Hillsboro High School for 12 years, she began her current position as the library media specialist at Hillsboro Junior High, where she has also been the yearbook adviser for the past 7 years. She enjoys nothing more than helping both her students and fellow educators explore resources to support academic and professional success. She has held leadership positions at the Hillsboro R-3 school district and for the Missouri Association of School Librarians. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and listening to her vinyl records.
