Kyle Carter, CJE, advises The Rebel, the student yearbook at Richland R-1 School outside Essex. Carter is also a freelance photographer covering events in the South. He has been published in Sports Illustrated, the cover of USA Today, the cover of the Los Angeles Times and various other publications. He received 2015 Rising Star Award from MJEA and the 2016 Rising Star Award from JEA. Carter often can be found advising students from Richland and other schools on how to photograph all types of events from football and concerts, to in a classroom and downtown landscapes.
