Coming from a family full of people with Jostens, Eric grew up with a unique perspective on school and community traditions, and was always fascinated by the idea of the yearbook. That priceless experience of chronicling and celebrating a year’s worth of memories became something he was driven to share with as many people as possible. This motivation led to him being a part of the award-winning “Flashback” yearbook staff at Rock Bridge High School, in Columbia, MO. From there, he went on to further develop his writing and multimedia skills at the University of Missouri, where he graduated with degrees in Psychology and Journalism. After spending a few years as a class ring salesman for Jostens, things came full circle for Eric when he stepped back into the classroom as a yearbook representative. Now, he gets to spend every day helping teachers and students create their own piece of history, giving to others that experience of inclusiveness that meant so much to him as a kid.
